Iran Oil Minister: Gas stations were cyber-attacked
WANA (Dec 18)- Iran’s oil minister during a visit to fuel stations in Tehran: “Gas stations were cyber-attacked.”
Oji, Minister of Oil of Iran:
- Today’s disruption in petrol stations has happened due to a cyber attack.
- With our experience in 2021 (the first cyberattack on gas stations in Iran by hackers), we quickly resumed refueling operations at 1650 fuel stations. The system is still offline.
- Within 2-3 hours, all stations in the country will be activated manually. Our gasoline reserves are reasonable. The fuel card quota remains reserved.
- Since the Zionist regime and the United States have been hit on other fronts (He refers to the Israel – Gaza war), they wanted to cause problems for the people in this field (In Iran).
