Iran Showcases Healthcare Innovations at Arab Health 2025
WANA (Jan 29) – The 50th edition of the Arab Health Exhibition, one of the world’s largest and most prestigious healthcare and medical equipment events, has commenced in Dubai. This year, the event hosts over 60,000 healthcare professionals, 3,800 exhibitors from 70 countries, and 6,000 visitors from 180 countries.
Iran Returns to Arab Health After Years of Absence
Following years of restrictions on Iranian companies’ participation, seven Iranian knowledge-based companies are now showcasing their innovations at Iran’s pavilion in Hall Z5.
Their presence is supported by the “Organization for the Development of International Scientific and Technological Cooperation” and the “Innovation and Prosperity Fund.” This participation provides a significant platform to exhibit Iran’s capabilities in medical equipment, diagnostic technologies, biotechnology, and health-related software.
Supporting Iran’s Knowledge-Based Exports
To facilitate Iranian companies’ participation, a substantial portion of exhibition costs, including booth rental and construction, has been covered by governmental organizations. The initiative aims to boost non-oil exports, attract foreign investment, and expand international cooperation in the healthcare sector.
Iran Competing Alongside Global Healthcare Leaders
This year, 42 countries, including Germany, the U.S., the UK, the UAE, China, Switzerland, France, and India, have dedicated pavilions at the exhibition. Iran’s presence in this competitive global arena highlights the country’s advancements in healthcare technology and its efforts to secure a stronger foothold in international markets.
Iran’s pavilion at Arab Health 2025 has already attracted significant attention from visitors, and its participation is expected to pave the way for new international partnerships, expanded exports, and a greater share for Iran in the global medical and healthcare industry.
