Iran Tops Greco-Roman Wrestling at Paris Olympics
WANA (August 17) – The United World Wrestling Federation highlighted the standings of countries in Greco-Roman wrestling at the Paris Olympics in a recent Instagram post.
The Iranian Greco-Roman wrestling team secured 4 medals at the Paris Olympics, earning the top spot in the team rankings.
Saeid Esmaeili and Mohammad Hadi Saravi won gold medals, while Alireza Mohammadi and Amin Mirzazadeh claimed silver and bronze medals, respectively. With a total of 101 points, Iran finished ahead of Cuba and Kyrgyzstan.
