Iran Tops Medal Count Per Athlete at 2024 Paris Olympics
WANA (August 14) – At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Iran achieved the highest average number of medals per athlete, securing 0.29 medals per competitor.
This places Iran ahead of China and South Korea, both with 0.23 medals per athlete, and the United States, which averaged 0.21 medals per athlete.
Also, following the conclusion of the Greco-Roman wrestling events at the Paris Olympics, the latest global rankings have been announced.
Saeid Ismaili and Mohammad Hadi Saravi are ranked at the top, while Amin Mirzazadeh dropped three places to fourth in the 130 kg weight category.
