WANA (June 26) – Kanaani, the spokesperson of our country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, made a statement regarding recent actions by some countries, including Armenia’s official recognition of the state of Palestine.

 

The statement emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran supports the legitimate rights of the Palestinian nation, including their fundamental right to self-determination. Iran welcomes the formation of an independent state of Palestine with its capital in Jerusalem.

 

Kanaani emphasized the principled stance of our country in not recognizing the usurping Zionist regime.

 

He stressed the new wave of government support for the cause and rights of the Palestinian nation. This response reflects the strong call from public opinion around the world to condemn the crimes of the aggressive Zionist regime, including genocide and mass killings of civilians, especially Palestinian women and children. It’s a clear sign of the global isolation of the child-killing Zionist regime.
