WANA (Oct 04) – On October 1, 2024, approximately 200 ballistic missiles were launched from Iran towards the heart of Israel. To everyone’s surprise, a significant number of them hit their intended targets.

A “ballistic missile,” contrary to common belief, is the simplest type of missile. Similar to a cannonball or mortar shell, once launched, its impact point is determined by the laws of physics. A ballistic missile travels its path based on the angle of launch and the amount of fuel, without any possibility of control once in the air.

Therefore, if the missile lacks the necessary standards, it may fall short or overshoot, landing either before or after the intended target. The slightest error in the missile’s construction or a miscalculation in targeting during launch could result in it hitting public areas or residential homes. Yet, this was not the case, as not a single Israeli woman or child was killed.

This operation reminds us of the “War of the Cities” during the eight-year Iran-Iraq War, when, unlike the Ba’athist enemy, Iranians would warn the people in targeted Iraqi cities beforehand to avoid civilian casualties.

Such an approach in warfare is a moral and cultural action, ensuring that civilians understand that Iran and Iranians are not murderers. Even in war, they take up arms out of necessity, not desire. As a result, no deep-seated hatred arises, for no mother is left grieving the loss of her child.

On the other hand, Israel, to kill a handful of leaders from the “resistance groups,” indiscriminately bombs schools, hospitals, and residential complexes, leaving hundreds of women, children, the elderly, and the young dead or injured, all in the hope of killing someone like “Seyed Hassan” or another individual in the process.

Such barbarism is rare even among wild animals. Naturally, this level of cruelty mobilizes countless people across the world against the Israeli regime, tarnishing its reputation among peace-loving nations.

When the “Italian Mafia” plans to rob a bank, they organize the operation to avoid killing security guards. Even armed terrorist groups and guerrilla organizations carry out their operations as “clean” as possible, minimizing casualties during their assassinations.

It’s fair to ask: what crime have the 42,000 ordinary citizens of Gaza committed for Israel to shed their blood for crimes they haven’t committed?

Some may praise Israel for its scientific and technological advancements, but the reality is that Israel is among the most wretched countries in the world. Eighty years since its founding, the regime has been embroiled in war, conflict, repression, condemnation, and widespread public hatred. The pain of the “killer” is no less than the pain of the “victim.”

The world must understand that “Iranians” are not killers, and the noble nation of Iran is adorned with compassion and kindness.
