Iranian Badminton Umpire Officiates at 2024 Paris Olympics
WANA (July 29) – Iranian badminton umpire Hermine Armin Mehr officiated at the opening of the Paris 2024 Olympics.
As the major Olympic event unfolds in Paris, Armin Mehr has already overseen several important matches since the start of the badminton games.
Additionally, in the Paralympics in France, Ms. Jarchian and Mr. Reza Roshan Omid will serve as umpires, and Mr. Reza Kabiri will serve as a line judge.
Currently, Iranian badminton officiating boasts over 15 international and global umpires. The participation of four representatives from Iran’s umpiring community in the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in France highlights the progress and quality of badminton officiating in Iran.
