WANA (Sep 17) – Following today’s terrorist attack in Lebanon, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, condemned the Israeli regime’s terrorist act targeting Lebanese citizens in a phone call with Abdullah Bouhabib, the Lebanese Foreign Minister.

 

Araghchi also expressed condolences and solidarity with the government, people, and families of the martyrs and injured individuals in the attack, and offered to provide any assistance needed for the treatment of the wounded or their transfer to Tehran.

 

The Iranian Foreign Minister also, noting the injury of Mr. Emani, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the terrorist attack, thanked the Lebanese government for its immediate medical response and inquired about his current condition.

 

In line with this, Abbas Araghchi wrote on social media (X): “In my call with the Lebanese Foreign Minister, I strongly condemned Israeli terrorism and expressed solidarity with the victims—including a ten-year-old child—and offered to provide any necessary assistance.”
