WANA (Sep 27) – Following the recent attacks by the Israeli regime on the Dahieh region of Beirut, Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran condemned the actions, describing them as a blatant war crime.

The full message reads as follows:

“In the name of God,

Today’s attacks by the Zionist regime on the Dahieh region in Beirut are a clear and undeniable war crime, once again exposing the nature of state terrorism by this regime.

The crimes of the Zionist regime against the people of Palestine and Lebanon are a sign of the global community’s failure to stop this regime’s machinery of state terrorism, and they have proven that this regime is the greatest threat to regional and international peace and security. It is expected that all nations, especially Islamic countries, will firmly condemn this crime.

I express my deepest condolences to the people and government of Lebanon and offer my sympathies to the families of the brave martyrs of this tragedy. I share in the grief of the proud and resilient people of Lebanon’s resistance.
The Islamic Republic of Iran will pursue this latest crime by the Zionists and will stand alongside the people of Lebanon and the axis of resistance.”

This statement was issued after unprecedented attacks on Dahieh, a southern suburb of Beirut, home to resistance groups in Lebanon. The President of Iran emphasized the necessity for global condemnation of these attacks, particularly from Islamic nations, and reaffirmed Iran’s support for the Lebanese people.
