WANA (Sep 07) – By securing one gold, two silver, and one bronze medal, at the 36th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI), held in Alexandria, Egypt, the Iranian Computer Olympiad team ranked ninth in the world and achieved remarkable success.

 

Among the standout performers, Amir Ali Asgari won the prestigious gold medal, while Amirhossein Farkhondehfar and Amirreza Dorosti each earned silver medals. Parsa Farajpour added to the team’s success by clinching a bronze medal.

 

In this highly competitive event, teams from China, the United States, and Poland took the top three spots, with Iran’s impressive performance placing them among the leading nations in the field of informatics.

 

This performance highlights Iran’s growing expertise in computer science and its commitment to nurturing young talents on the global stage.
