WANA (Aug 31) – The Iranian women’s national team has achieved notable success at the World Lifesaving Championships currently being held in Gold Coast, Australia. The team secured a silver medal in the 4×90 meter beach relay event.

 

The Iranian team, consisting of Maryam Mohammadi, Kazhan Rostami, Faezah Ashourpour, and Pardis Abdol Mohammadi, competed against strong teams from Spain, Australia, Egypt, England, New Zealand, France, and Canada.

 

They ultimately earned the silver medal and the title of runner-up. The Egyptian team won the gold, while Australia secured third place.
