WANA (Oct 02) – Following Iran’s missile strikes on Israel, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran has issued a statement.

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

 

Following the illegitimate actions of the Zionist regime, with the assassination of Iranian advisors in Syria and Lebanon, and the violation of the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran through the martyrdom of the esteemed martyr Mohammad Reza Zahedi, the honourable martyr Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, and then the assassination of the leaders and commanders of Hezbollah, especially the great and devoted warrior of the resistance front, martyr Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the brave Iranian advisor, Major General Abbas Nilforoushan, alongside the massacre of the oppressed people of Lebanon and Palestine, particularly defenceless women and children, the legitimate sovereign rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran have been disregarded, making a proper response necessary.

 

The child-killing usurper regime of Israel and its international and regional supporters, especially its main backer, the criminal United States, must know that while the Islamic Republic of Iran has never initiated any war in the past 45 years and never will, it will not back down in defending its legitimate rights against any aggression or violation, with unmatched strength and resolve, making every malicious aggressor regret their actions, no matter the level.

 

The General Staff of the Armed Forces, while thanking the legitimate, courageous, and jihadist actions of the brave sons of the Iranian nation in the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the support and backing of the heroic Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the powerful Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, considers this operation against the child-killing and criminal Zionist regime a legitimate right.

 

It warns that if the aggressor regime responds in kind, it must await widespread destruction of its infrastructure across the occupied Palestinian territories. Moreover, if the supporting countries of the regime directly intervene in the aggression against Islamic Iran, their centres and interests in the region will simultaneously face the powerful and regret-inducing onslaught of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
