WANA (Oct 30) – The head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, warned that any minor attack on the country’s nuclear facilities would be met with the most severe responses.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting, Eslami emphasized the daily and ongoing communication between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

He remarked, “The IAEA is obligated by its laws and regulations to raise objections, and we consistently remind them of our stance. IAEA officials are frequently present in Iran, maintaining constant communication.”

In response to questions about the country’s laser technology advancements, Eslami noted, “Laser technology plays a significant role in various fields. The applications of lasers in biotechnology and nanotechnology, along with the heavy water we produce at our organization, will lead to significant breakthroughs in medicine and treatment, which we hope to showcase at upcoming exhibitions.”
