Iran’s Innovative Anti-Virus Product with Long-Lasting Effects
WANA (Aug 19) – Iranian researchers have developed a groundbreaking product that can retain its antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties for up to 10,000 hours when exposed to ordinary light.
This innovative product, created by a nanotechnology company based at the Innovation Center of Iran University of Medical Sciences, is designed for application on surfaces and clothing, making it particularly useful in maintaining personal hygiene.
Bita Mehroui, the company’s CEO, highlighted the plant-based nature of its products and announced that the company has successfully obtained health permits and Health certification. She also introduced a specialized product designed for Arbaeen pilgrims, which addresses common issues like heat rash and blisters that have affected 90% of pilgrims in previous years.
Despite receiving no government support, the company achieved its “knowledge-based” status in 2023 after four years of persistent effort. Mehroui further noted that the company has actively participated in related exhibitions, seeking ways to optimize the use of its products in large-scale events like Arbaeen.
