WANA (Nov 08) – In response to the recent U.S. elections, Major General Hossein Salami, the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), stated: “The recent American elections proved that Gaza’s resistance can even change the war-mongering American government.”

General Salami emphasized that the enemy has entered the battlefield with all its resources and capabilities, while Iran is engaging with only a fraction of its own potential. He pointed out that the current political alignment of the enemy is a direct response to the vast resistance movement in the region.

He continued: “There are no untapped resources left with the enemy; they have brought everything to the field.” According to Salami, the adversary seeks to distort the reality of right and wrong, turning evident truths into ambiguities to serve its own interests.

The commander noted: “Their year-long efforts to attack the besieged, defenseless people of Gaza have yielded nothing. They act aimlessly, as if blindly, with no rationale governing their actions, driven by an impending collapse.”

The U.S. Is an Unreliable Ally

Major General Salami further commented on the situation: “Despite its initial dominance at the start of the conflict, the Zionist regime is now experiencing a gradual decline and a loss of self-confidence.” He criticized the U.S. for its track record, stating that it has consistently failed to protect its political allies, proving to be an unreliable supporter.

He elaborated: “The Zionist regime is like the only child of the United States, bearing the burden of America’s foreign policy in West Asia and the Islamic world. It is a very small territory where any war affects all aspects of its politics, society, and economy.” He added that in Israel, war and daily life are inseparable, and with no strategic depth, they have nowhere to retreat in times of crisis.

Salami stressed that Israel’s “potential” defeat is nearing reality, pointing out that the Operation True Promise 2, demonstrated that despite the readiness of the Iron Dome and other defense systems, only about 10 to 15 percent of their efforts were effective. He explained that although Iran had multiple opportunities to carry out this operation, it was ultimately executed at the most opportune time, delivering a blow that shattered the Zionists’ confidence and brought them down to their true size on the battlefield.

The IRGC Commander highlighted that Israel’s media operations make it seem as though they are conquering the world, but in reality, they are anxious, exhausted, worried, and economically bankrupt, sustained only by U.S. support.

He concluded: “However, Iran is a vast, indomitable land. By divine grace, no one can defeat Iran. This is not just a slogan but a proven reality, grounded in experience.”

In a separate part of his speech, General Salami referred to the U.S. presidential elections, stating: “It does not matter who becomes the U.S. president. Yet, the American people continue to support those who feed the Zionist regime’s killing machine.”
