Iran’s Judiciary Chief: Israel Will Face Severe Response
WANA (Oct 28) – On Monday, Iran’s Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje’i condemned Israel’s recent airspace violations, stating that Israel would “receive a harsh response” for its actions. “This temporary and illegitimate regime will pay the price for its crimes,” Eje’i asserted during a Supreme Judicial Council session.
Eje’i urged for greater efforts to hold Israel accountable on an international level. “Although international organizations claiming to support human rights have shown inaction, the Islamic Republic of Iran will persist in pursuing the prosecution of Zionist leaders in global forums,” he emphasized, instructing Iran’s Attorney General and relevant agencies to intensify their pursuit of Israel’s alleged war crimes in Gaza and southern Lebanon, which he described as “blatant violations of human rights.”
In expressing condolences for the recent loss of Iranian military personnel, Eje’i also condemned the killing of ten Iranian security forces by terrorists in Sistan-Baluchistan. He vowed justice, noting, “Some perpetrators have already been apprehended, and efforts to hold all involved accountable will continue.”
Eje’i also addressed domestic security concerns, warning individuals against contributing to public unrest. “Those disrupting public order or disturbing people’s mental security, especially if linked to external enemies, will face firm legal action,” he stated.
He concluded by marking Iran’s National Passive Defense Day, underscoring the importance of bolstering national security and resilience against threats.
