Iran’s Nuclear Chief: Grossi’s Meeting with President Will Follow Protocol
WANA (Oct 02) – Mohammad Eslami, the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization and the Vice President, addressed reporters today regarding nuclear negotiations and threats from the Israeli regime. He stated, “Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, is interested in speaking with the President of Iran, but this meeting requires coordination and must be conducted according to protocols.”
Eslami elaborated, “Grossi spoke with me in Vienna, and he discussed matters with Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, in New York. He wishes to meet with the President; however, this meeting requires coordination and adherence to the related protocols.”
Regarding the upcoming round of nuclear negotiations, Eslami emphasized, “The key issue is that all the commotion surrounding our nuclear program and the pretext created for it is linked to the negotiations for lifting sanctions, which are under the responsibility of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”
On the threats posed by the Israeli regime against Iran’s nuclear facilities, he remarked, “Israel has always made such claims. The Israeli regime is a brutal one; Netanyahu acts like a vampire, and the entire world criticizes this regime. What can one expect from such a madman?”
He further added, “The responsibility of deterrence in Iran lies with our armed forces, who are performing their duties excellently.”
