WANA (May 13) – The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that since last year, Iran’s power has expanded dramatically—dozens of times over. He said: “But look—what has the enemy added to its strength? We see the presence of God in these realities. They’ve only recently realized that the theory of a weakening Iran was wrong. Iran has, in fact, grown stronger.”

He continued: “All the world’s evil powers have united, all the untrustworthy forces of history have joined ranks. This is a full-scale war. Politically, we are facing them in their most aggressive form; they make open, blatant threats, and we respond in kind. Economically, the war is ongoing in its most intense form. And in the cultural, cognitive, psychological, media, military, and intelligence arenas, we are up against the most advanced powers in the world.”

Referring to the situation in Gaza, Salami said: “Two million people in Gaza are under complete siege, surrounded by massive firepower, witnessing the constant martyrdom of their loved ones. Yet, how have they managed to challenge two major powers—America and the Zionist regime—in this state? Tens of billions of dollars’ worth of American weapons have been sent to Israel, but Gaza’s children recite the Quran and mothers sleep in full hijab, unsure if they’ll live to see the morning. And yet, they remain steadfast and grateful. Can you see how they’ve rendered the enemy powerless? We think everything is calm in Israel, but anxiety grips the entire regime. They are faced with uncertainty and no clear future.”

Salami added: “Politically, Israel has completely collapsed on the world stage. Even European countries no longer want proper political ties with them. If the U.S. stops supporting Israel even for a single day, the regime cannot survive. They’ve built a forest of defense systems—making it the most heavily defended area in the world—yet we’ve seen how weak their defense really is. You can’t handle one missile—what would you do if we launched 600 missiles at once? Do you have the capacity? This is where dignity confronts humiliation. God has opened the gates of jihad so the faithful can become strong and live with honor.”

Salami emphasized: “The Palestinian people have cornered America, Israel, and Britain. To the point where the U.S. president has praised them. Their resistance is so remarkable that even Trump praised them and called for a ceasefire. The Israelis were stunned—how could America abandon their interests? Today, Israel can’t even protect its ships from Yemen’s missiles, while they claimed Iran had weakened and lost its regional allies. Measuring power with material standards misleads the leaders of disbelief.”

He added: “Our enemy is in decline. They have no way out of the crises they created themselves. The U.S. knows war hasn’t solved any of its problems—it has only led to defeat. A few days ago, I read an official report from the U.S. defense review body which stated that their air force is weak—50% of their planes can’t fly. That means they have a decayed, exhausted military. After more than 100 days, the U.S. president has created problems instead of solving them—not in Gaza, not in Ukraine, and not regarding Iran’s nuclear issue.”

He went on: “Trump entered office like a bully wanting to change the world—but now he himself has changed. He’s retreating day by day, and all his projects have failed. A change in U.S. presidents doesn’t change the decline of its power. Military spending and other strategies won’t shift just because a new president arrives. We shouldn’t be worried. We should trust in this great truth: the issues are solvable.”

Salami concluded: “Our power has grown dozens of times over since last year. But look—what has the enemy gained? In these truths, we see God. They’ve just now realized Iran hasn’t weakened—it has become stronger. Though the resistance front supports us, we have not built our strength by relying solely on them. When we were present in Syria, there was stability. Now everyone is fighting over pieces of Syria. We had a clear mission there, but others came for personal gain—and none are willing to bear the cost. The country has turned into unclaimed territory because Iran is no longer there.”

He said: “We know our enemy and we monitor them. Even in negotiations, Iran stands with pride. We must raise individuals who can stand firm and fearless. This country is full of noble people—whoever confronts them will be crushed. We thank the scholars who have answered the call of the IRGC and Basij. Our schools and universities must be purified. Your mission is to reach the hearts and minds of our youth. These events happen around the world, but they exaggerate our problems and hide their own.”
