WANA (Oct 24) – Following the assassination of Seyed Hashem Safieddine, head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, by Israel Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf expressed their condolences in messages addressed to Iran’s Supreme Leader, the people of Lebanon and Palestine, Safieddine’s comrades in the Resistance Front, his family, and all freedom-seeking people of the world.

 

Iran’s President’s Message is as follows:

 

“In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful”

 

“And those who emigrated in the way of Allah and were then killed or died, Allah will certainly grant them provision.”

 

The martyrdom of the virtuous scholar and tireless fighter, Seyed Hashem Safieddine, head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council in Lebanon, while a great loss for the Resistance Axis, the Lebanese people, and all freedom-loving individuals around the world, will undoubtedly open a new chapter of resistance and struggle against the Zionist occupiers.

 

This great man in the field of jihad and martyrdom, inspired by the school of Ashura, courageously dedicated his entire life to defending the oppressed people of Palestine and Lebanon and strengthening the Resistance Front. He left behind a shining legacy of struggle and resistance in the path of Islam and the fight against oppression and injustice, which will remain ever-bright and inspiring.

 

The Zionist enemy, after assassinating the late Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Martyr Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, thought that by cowardly assassinating this great fighter, it would create a significant gap in the leadership and guidance of this movement. However, by the grace of God, the blessed tree of resistance does not cease to live and grow, and the blood of the martyrs continues to fuel this movement. Today, we see that Hezbollah is stronger and more resilient than before, pursuing its goals with greater power and delivering severe blows to the occupiers.

 

I extend my condolences for the martyrdom of this scholar and fighter to the Supreme Leader, the proud nations of Lebanon and Palestine, his comrades in the Resistance Front, his honorable family, and all freedom-seekers of the world. Without a doubt, as long as oppression, crime, and occupation continue against the oppressed people of Palestine and Lebanon, the resistance and jihad against the Zionist aggressors and their supporters will grow stronger day by day.”

In the continuous path of sacrifice and martyrdom of the true, resolute, insightful, and brave fighters, a courageous fighter ascended to the heavens.

 

Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Seyed Hashem Safieddine, a longstanding member and head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council in Lebanon, and a strong supporter of the Resistance Front fighters, has proudly joined the ranks of the martyrs.

 

This honorable martyr, like the esteemed martyr Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, was a symbol of unity, struggle, and defense of the sacred sanctity of Islam, and a supporter of Gaza, Palestine, and Lebanon. He stood firm in the battle against the aggressors and sacrificed his life for his cause.

 

The usurping and bloodthirsty Zionist regime, helpless and defeated in confronting the fighters and warriors and unable to undermine the solid organization of the Resistance Front, has resorted to massacring defenseless civilians in Lebanon and Gaza. This time, in a vile crime through the bombing of beloved Lebanon, they martyred this eternal figure of resistance.

 

Martyrdom is the eternal tradition and path of those who fight in the way of God, and without a doubt, divine victory and success will be achieved.

 

While expressing my condolences and congratulations on the martyrdom of this proud fighter of Hezbollah Lebanon and the Resistance Front, I offer my sympathies to the Awaited Savior, the Supreme Leader, the governments, and the noble people of Lebanon and Palestine, the fighters, commanders, and all justice-seeking freedom fighters. I also extend my condolences to the families of the proud martyrs of this tragedy and assure them that the noble people of Iran will stand with the fighters and warriors until the ultimate victory of the Resistance Front.”
