WANA (Sep 17) – Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, will depart for New York on Sunday, September 22, to participate and deliver a speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

 

His speech is scheduled for Tuesday, September 24, during which he will present the views of the Iranian nation.

 

This annual trip typically occurs in late September or early October, where Iranian presidents, across different administrations, share their perspectives and address various issues.

 

The president’s potential engagements include a speech at a side event titled “Leaders for the Future,” meetings with the Iranian community in the U.S., discussions with religious leaders, and sessions with media executives, think tanks, and bilateral talks with leaders from European, Asian, and Islamic countries.
