Iran’s 2024 presidential election, initially scheduled for 2025, has been moved to June 28, 2024, following the death of President Ebrahim Raisi.

 

Six candidates competed in the first round, and two candidates went to the second round. Saeed Jalili and Masoud Pezeshkian will compete once again on July 5, 2024.
