WANA (July 21) – The Supreme Leader has highlighted the crucial role of the Parliament in political and international matters, citing the Strategic Action Law as a notable example of effective parliamentary involvement.

In the first meeting of the leadership with the members of the 12th parliament and the honorary presence of the elected president of Iran, the Leader stated, “In various challenges faced with other governments, the Parliament should support the government effectively. The involvement of the Parliament in political and international issues is vital.”

He praised the Strategic Action Law, describing it as a successful initiative by the Parliament. “Some have criticized and found faults with this law, but these criticisms are entirely unfounded. It was a very appropriate and correct action,” the Leader remarked.

He also remarked that the issue of Gaza remains the top priority for the Islamic world. What I mentioned to the parliament about foreign affairs and diplomatic efforts is clearly illustrated by the situation in Gaza.

Don’t rest, don’t stay silent. The work is essential. Although the initial fervor has faded for many people over the months, the issue is just as important today, if not more so. The strength of the resistance is becoming more evident every day.

A massive military, political, and economic power like the United States supports the Zionist regime in its fight against the resistance, but they have not been able to defeat them. Since they can’t bring Hamas and the resistance to their knees, they take out their frustration on civilians, bombing schools, hospitals, children, and women.

The world’s people are witnessing these ultimate crimes and are now judging the vile usurping regime. This issue is far from over.
