Israel Claims: Hezbollah Leader Hassan Nasrallah is Killed in Beirut Attack
WANA (Sep 28) – The Israeli army has officially announced that Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, was reportedly killed in an attack on Beirut’s Dahiyeh neighbourhood yesterday.
According to the Israeli army’s statement, alongside Nasrallah, Ali Korki, the commander of Hezbollah’s southern division, and several other Hezbollah commanders were also said to have been killed in the assault.
This claim comes amid a lack of official response from Hezbollah, making it impossible to confirm or deny the assertions made by the Israeli regime.
The Israeli army’s statement alleges that the regime’s air force targeted Hezbollah’s central command, located underground in a building in the Dahiyeh area of Beirut, based on precise intelligence provided by the army’s intelligence branch and Mossad.
The Israeli regime claims that senior officials of Lebanon’s Islamic Resistance were present at the command centre during the meeting when this alleged terrorist attack took place.
In response to the recent explosions, Hezbollah has rejected the Israeli regime’s claims of weapon storage in the buildings that were bombed in Beirut, describing the assertions as baseless.
