WANA (June 21) – The Canadian government’s decision to label the IRGC as a terrorist organization has led to the Italian ambassador in Tehran, who represents Canada’s interests, being summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the US director general.

 

In this call, our country’s strong objection to the Canadian government’s illegal action against international law was communicated to the protector of the country’s interests. While warning about the consequences of this action, Iran’s right to take necessary measures and countermeasures was emphasized.

 

The Italian ambassador said that he would immediately report the situation to the Canadian government.
