WANA (Sep 07) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Nasser Kanaani, stated that Israel’s retreat from the cities of Jenin and Tulkarm in the northern West Bank signals the regime’s frustration in achieving victory.

In a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Kanaani noted that after ten days of attacks on Jenin and four days of aggression in Tulkarm, Israeli forces withdrew from both cities.

He highlighted the extensive destruction of urban infrastructure in Gaza and parts of the northern West Bank, especially in Jenin and Tulkarm, as evidence of Israel’s “scorched-earth” strategy in the face of resistance from the Palestinian people.

Kanaani called on international communities and governments to prevent a repeat of the war crimes seen in Gaza from occurring in the West Bank, emphasizing their legal, moral, and humanitarian responsibilities.
