Mohsen Rezaei: Israel Doesn’t Dare to Attack Iran
WANA (Sep 26) – Mohsen Rezaei, a member of Iran’s Expediency Council, stated that the flourishing of the Islamic Revolution in all sectors, particularly in industry and the economy, is a significant strong rebuttal to both domestic and foreign adversaries.
Rezaei characterized the first coalition of global superpowers led by the United States as an attempt to undermine the revolution, highlighting that enemies suffered a heavy defeat during this initial alliance.
As a former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps during the Iran-Iraq War, he described the eight-year conflict as the second coalition formed by adversaries aiming to prevent the establishment of the Islamic Republic. He asserted that despite efforts to restore monarchy, the revolution endured.
He emphasized that this second coalition sought to annihilate the Islamic Republic through warfare, but ultimately, it was Iran and its people who emerged victorious, leading to the downfall of Saddam Hussein.
Rezaei identified a third coalition of internal and external enemies aimed at hindering Iran’s progress. He noted that those involved in previous coalitions have now imposed sanctions against the Islamic Revolution and the Republic, intensifying efforts to create inflation and economic hardship for Iran.
He elaborated on two critical aspects of this third coalition: external enemies consistently obstructing the sale and export of Iranian oil to provoke inflation and devalue the national currency.
He pointed out that despite sanctions, Iran has significantly enhanced its military capabilities and is increasingly flourishing in production and economic growth.
Moreover, he highlighted the issue of cultural infiltration within the country, asserting that certain factions are undermining serious agreements with Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and BRICS countries, while portraying a negative image of Chinese partnerships.
In reference to regional dynamics, Rezai asserted that Israel lacks the courage to attack Iran. He reiterated that the Supreme Leader seeks unity within the country and the formation of an Islamic Ummah, emphasizing that these elements are vital for the nation’s future.
He added that unity must exclude infiltrators, with the “tent of leadership” serving as a national consensus to ensure the success of the third revolution, focused on the flourishing of Iran’s economy and industry.
