Netanyahu Announces Anti-Iran Talks Ahead of Washington Trip
WANA (Feb 02) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, before departing Tel Aviv for Washington, highlighted his “personal friendship” with U.S. President Donald Trump and announced plans for “anti-Iran consultations” during their upcoming meetings.
Netanyahu stated that the Israeli and American sides would discuss key issues, including “Hamas, the return of hostages, and the Iranian axis, which threatens the entire world.”
In his remarks, Netanyahu noted that this would be Trump’s first meeting with a foreign leader in his second term, emphasizing the strength of the Israeli-American alliance and the personal bond between the two leaders, which has brought significant results for Israel and the Middle East.
Speaking to reporters before boarding his flight, Netanyahu expressed his belief that collaboration between Israel and the U.S. could lead to substantial changes in the Middle East, strengthen Israel’s security, expand peace agreements, and bring about a significant era of peace from a position of strength.
