WANA (June 26) – New US sanctions target 50 individuals and institutions linked to Iran’s armed forces.

 

The US Department of Treasury has imposed new sanctions against 50 individuals and entities, claiming that they constitute several branches of a vast secret banking network under the pretext of connection with Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and Armed Forces.

 

Iran’s representative office at the United Nations stated that the new sanctions are part of the economic war that America has cruelly launched against the Iranian people. They are attacking, and we are defending accordingly.

 

The outcome of this economic warfare is determined by the strength of determination, not the ability to impose sanctions.
