Pezeshkian: If Muslims Were United, the Zionists Would Not Dare to Be Bold
WANA (Aug) – The President of Iran, during a ceremony renewing the government’s commitment to the ideals of the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, stated, “If all Muslims held firmly to the divine rope, would the Zionist regime, the U.S., Europe, or any other power dare to act with arrogance and bullying?”
On the morning of Saturday, August 24, 2024, Masoud Pezeshkian spoke at the ceremony where the government delegation visited the Holy Shrine of Imam Khomeini to mark Government Week and renew their commitment to the ideals of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He said, “Unity and cohesion mean that we all act in the path of truth and justice, under the leadership of the Supreme Leader, within the framework of the system’s general policies and the law. We will be honest with the people and behave based on truth and justice.”
He added, “The enemy is trying to create division within our country, but we must unite around the leadership, the vision document, the development plan, and the law to become the best. Of course, this goal requires round-the-clock effort and unity; it will not be achieved easily.”
In conclusion, Pezeshkian emphasized the need to steer the country toward its rightful position, saying, “Today, at the Imam’s shrine, we pledge to continue this path with all our might and to do everything within our power to move forward. We hope not to fall short of the blood of the martyrs, the Imam of the martyrs, and our dear people.”
