Pezeshkian: Iran Reaffirms Support for Palestinian Resistance
WANA (Sep 03) – Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, emphasized the strong support of the 14th government for Palestinian resistance in a message to the Ninth Conference of Expatriate Fighters. He affirmed the government’s readiness to fully back the struggles of all oppressed people against global imperialism, particularly the Palestinian people’s resistance against the Israeli regime.
In his message, Pezeshkian wrote: “From the beginning of my time in government, I have unequivocally supported the people of Palestine and the oppressed around the world, and I have reiterated my commitment to defending their rights in all areas.”
He emphasized that, regardless of one’s position or circumstances, it is always essential to advocate for justice and support those who seek the truth and defend the oppressed. He added that undoubtedly, the pursuit of justice by elites and awakened consciences can serve as a guiding light for shaping and realizing a bright future and living under justice and prosperity.
In the message, Pezeshkian also praised the services of former Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian, referring to him as a learned diplomat, a master of diplomacy, and a perfect example of a resistance diplomat.
The Ninth “International Conference of Expatriate Fighters” is being held today, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, with guests from 26 countries in attendance. Ambassadors from Iraq, Yemen, and other Islamic countries, as well as representatives of the Resistance Front, are participating in the event.
This international conference has been held over the past nine years with the participation of ambassadors from Islamic countries, aiming to identify, introduce, and create role models of expatriate fighters.
