WANA (Sep 28) – Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, expressed his condolences on the assassination of prominent resistance figures, especially Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

The full text of President Pezeshkian’s message is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

“Until when the messengers despaired and thought they had been denied, Our victory came to them, and We saved whom We willed, and Our punishment could not be repelled from the people who are criminals.”

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah Lebanon, the pride of Muslims and a symbol of jihad and resistance, martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has achieved his long-cherished wish of attaining the exalted rank of martyrdom. Words fall short in describing his bravery, valor, and relentless struggles.

A great sorrow has settled in the hearts of all the oppressed and downtrodden around the world. The terrorist attack by the Zionists on the evening of October 6 and the loss of prominent resistance figures, with the immortal leader of Hezbollah, martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, at the forefront, will further strengthen the pure tree of resistance, and the name “Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah” will shine forever in the history of Islam.

We have learned that leadership belongs to God. The divine path will never remain without a commander or leader, and this earth will be inherited by the righteous servants of God.

The international community will not forget that the order for this terrorist attack was issued from New York, and the Americans cannot absolve themselves of complicity with the Zionists.

I extend my condolences and congratulations on the martyrdom of the esteemed mujahid, martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and all the oppressed and free people of the world. Hezbollah Lebanon will shine even brighter like the sun, and undoubtedly, the banner of the struggle against the oppressor will not be lowered, for “Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and He is the Avenger.”

Masoud Pezeshkian

President of the Islamic Republic of Iran
