WANA (Sep 06) – In response to the U.S. Attorney General’s claim regarding aggressive actions by certain countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, to influence the U.S. election process and results, Kanani stated: “Once again, we reject these repetitive claims as baseless, biased, and politically motivated for internal U.S. purposes, and we declare such accusations unacceptable.”

The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry added: “U.S. officials cannot address the internal rifts and issues of their country, which have deep structural, political, and social roots, by deflecting blame and accusing others outside their borders.”

The Iranian diplomat emphasized: “The U.S. government, which has been a leader in illegal interference in the internal affairs of other sovereign nations and has a long record of such destructive actions, cannot, by accusing other countries, shift the blame for its internal problems and crises to others or cover up its dark history of interventionist and unlawful behavior in the domestic affairs of independent nations.”
