WANA (July 31) – Following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, various resistance groups and the United States have condemned the crime.

 

In response to this new atrocity by the occupiers in Tehran, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, emphasized that the assassination of brother Ismail Haniyeh is a terrorist act and a blatant violation of laws.

 

The Islamic Group in Lebanon also reacted to this crime, declaring in a condolence message that Commander Ismail Haniyeh is a martyr in the battle for the liberation of Palestine.

 

Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Palestinian Authority, condemned the assassination of the fighter leader Ismail Haniyeh, calling for unity and steadfastness among the Palestinian people and forces.

 

Previously, an advisor to the President of the Palestinian Authority also reacted to the crime, calling the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh a new crime by the Zionist regime.

 

The advisor to the President of the Palestinian Authority stated, “We stand with Hamas.”

 

Meanwhile, Mousa Abu Marzouk, a member of Hamas’ political bureau, asserted that the assassination of leader Ismail Haniyeh was a cowardly act that will not go unanswered.

 

In a statement broadcast by Al-Aqsa TV, Al-Tahir stated that the Resistance Axis is fully prepared to confront and that the occupying government will regret the sin it committed by assassinating Ismail Haniyeh and attacking Iran’s sovereignty.

 

The leader of the Popular Front believes that this assassination could not have occurred without American support.

 

A White House spokesperson said that the White House has seen reports of the assassination and martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in Iran, but refrained from immediate comment.
