WANA (Aug 25) – Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, congratulated Dr. Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, on his appointment during a phone call and wished him success.

 

During this conversation, the latest developments in bilateral and regional relations were also discussed and exchanged.

 

Both sides emphasized that bilateral relations are on the right track and called for increased and expanded cooperation in various fields.

 

Additionally, the two parties, referring to the ongoing crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza and the escalating tensions in the region, stressed the need to intensify efforts to stop the Zionist atrocities and to send humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

 

Both sides also emphasized the continuation of consultations between the two countries, considering it to be in the interest of both nations and the region.
