WANA (Apr 03) – The political consultations meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has commenced in Moscow, attended by Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs and deputy foreign ministers from other member states.

 

Hosted by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this meeting brings together deputy foreign ministers from SCOSCO member states to discuss key regional and international issues, as well as political and security cooperation among the participating countries.

 

In addition to delivering a speech at the session, Majid Takht-Ravanchi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his counterparts from Russia and other SCO member states.

 

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization, comprising 10 member states, is regarded as the most significant political and security framework in Eurasia, with key nations such as Russia, China, Iran, and India among its members.
