Tehran Welcomes Uzbek Prime Minister
WANA (May 11) – At the invitation of Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref, Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov who was scheduled to visit Iran on Sunday, May 11, heading a senior delegation has arrived.
Iran’s First Vice President, Aref, officially welcomed Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov in a formal ceremony held at the Sa’dabad Cultural and Historical Complex.
After being welcomed, the officials held a meeting in which four cooperation documents between Iran and Uzbekistan were signed in the presence of Mohammad Reza Aref and Abdulla Aripov.
Strengthening joint cooperation in various fields, boosting bilateral relations, and enhancing collaboration in political, economic, and cultural areas were among the main topics discussed between the First Vice President of Iran and the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan.
During his visit, the Uzbek premier is scheduled to meet with senior Iranian officials and participate in a joint business forum attended by economic stakeholders from both countries.
