WANA (Aug 27) – The Foreign Ministers of Iran and Kuwait held a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral relations and regional issues.

 

Kuwait’s Foreign Minister, Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, congratulated Seyed Abbas Araghchi on his appointment as Iran’s Foreign Minister during the call, wishing him success in his new role.

 

In the conversation, Kuwait’s Foreign Minister emphasized his country’s commitment to continuing the development and expansion of relations between Tehran and Kuwait, highlighting the importance of ongoing political dialogue between the two nations.

 

Araghchi, while expressing gratitude for his Kuwaiti counterpart’s congratulations, affirmed that Tehran welcomes the expansion of relations in all dimensions between the two countries.

 

He also noted the complexity of developments in the West Asia region and described the continuation of political consultations between the two countries as essential and constructive.
