WANA (Oct 07) – In the year since the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, the Israeli regime has committed extensive crimes through aggressive attacks and acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip.

Operation Al-Aqsa Storm was launched by Palestinian resistance in October last year, marking a significant step towards ending the seven-decade-long atrocities committed by the Israeli regime.

In his recent Friday sermon in Tehran, the Supreme Leader of Iran emphasized: “The Al-Aqsa Storm and the year-long resistance of Gaza and Lebanon have brought the usurping regime to a point where its primary concern is its very survival—something it worried about in the early years of its cursed inception. This means that the struggles of the Palestinian and Lebanese fighters have managed to push the Zionist regime back by seventy years.”

He further stated: “The Palestinians are defending their own land, and their defense is legitimate. Assisting them is also legitimate. Therefore, all these attacks, including the Al-Aqsa Storm, which occurred around this time last year, were a rightful, logical, and legal international action. The Palestinians are in the right.”

After suffering a significant intelligence and military defeat during Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, the Israeli regime launched a widespread campaign of war crimes and genocide against the residents of Gaza.

In the year since the operation began, the Israeli regime has committed extensive crimes through aggressive attacks and genocide in the Gaza Strip. Shocking statistics include 41,000 martyrs, 96,000 wounded, and 1.9 million displaced persons, representing only a portion of the humanitarian catastrophe in the region.

Experts agree that the Israeli regime has failed to achieve its objectives in the Gaza war.

Now, one year after the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, the Zionist regime, with full support from Western countries, primarily the United States, has carried out widespread atrocities in Gaza. The staggering toll of 41,000 martyrs, 96,000 wounded, and 1.9 million displaced people represents just part of the humanitarian disaster in the area.

Over the past year, Israeli crimes in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of 41,825 people, including 16,891 children and 11,458 women. Additionally, 115 newborn babies have lost their lives in these attacks.

In addition to these figures, 174 journalists and 85 aid workers have been killed, with medical staff casualties reaching 986 and 203 UN personnel also losing their lives.

The number of injured has reached 96,910, with 9,444 people reported missing. Moreover, between 17,000 and 18,000 children have been orphaned, and 9,312 residents have been arrested.

The Israeli regime has dropped over 80,000 tons of explosives on Gaza, causing widespread destruction and displacing 1.9 million people.

Reports estimate that between 3,105 and 4,050 individuals have suffered amputations, and the total number of direct and indirect casualties from these attacks has exceeded 200,000.

These figures represent only a fraction of the deep humanitarian crisis in Gaza, which the international community must address.
