The US Can Define Economic Interests with Iran
WANA (Apr 02) – An advisor to the Supreme Leader emphasized that Donald Trump claims to be a peacemaker, so he should not speak of threats and war.
Ali Larijani, in a post on X, shared a segment of his televised interview on Special News Talk and wrote:
“Mr. Trump is a talented individual who has managed to become very wealthy in his business. The U.S. can define economic interests with Iran.
Trump says he is a peacemaker, so he should not talk about threats and war.
An attack on Iran will not be without consequences, and we have experienced military commanders.”
According to the report, in another part of his televised interview on Monday, March 31, Larijani reiterated that Iran still maintains its stance of not pursuing weapons and that IAEA inspections can continue indefinitely. “We have no problem because we do not make empty claims,” he said.
However, he warned that if the U.S. or Israel moves toward bombing Iran, they would be forcing Iran to make a different decision, which would not be in America’s interest. “No matter how they calculate it, this is not beneficial for them. What we are saying is that the U.S. can find another way and, instead of hostility with Iran, change its approach for once.”
