U.S. Responds to Masoud Pezeshkian’s Comments about brotherhood
WANA (Sep 17) – In response to a question about the Iranian President’s statement that “we are brothers with the Americans and they should end their hostility towards Iran,” the U.S. State Department spokesperson emphasized that they have extensive connections with the Iranian people and a significant Iranian community lives in the U.S. The spokesperson added, “This brotherhood must be demonstrated through actions, not just words.
If Iran wants to show brotherhood with the U.S. or other countries, it must stop supporting terrorist groups, halt its nuclear activities, cease missile transfers to Russia, and respect human rights.”
