WANA (Aug 28) – Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, held a phone conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries.

 

The UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister expressed his country’s desire to continue developing bilateral ties and enhancing regional cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

He emphasized the need to further strengthen the cooperation between Tehran and Abu Dhabi in the new era and congratulated Araghchi on his appointment as Iran’s Foreign Minister, wishing him success in his role.

 

In response, Araghchi thanked Sheikh Abdullah for his call and congratulated him on his appointment as UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister, wishing him success in his new position.

 

Both sides extended mutual invitations to visit Tehran and Abu Dhabi, underscoring the importance of continuing dialogues and exchanges to enhance bilateral relations in economic, consular, and security fields, as well as regional cooperation.
