WANA (August 10)Despite Israeli media’s psychological operations suggesting a rift between high-ranking Iranian officials, including the President and the IRGC, over retaliating against the Zionist regime following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, a knowledgeable security official has dismissed these claims.

The official emphasized that not only is there no disagreement on this matter at the strategic level of the regime, but the determination, unity, and consensus among the country’s leadership to carry out this action has been unparalleled in recent years.

The method of this retaliation will be decided at the highest level, within the Supreme National Security Council, which is chaired by the President.

Following the assassination of Martyr Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’ political bureau in Tehran, the Islamic Republic of Iran openly declared its intention to respond to this act.

Previously, Iran International, the leading Persian-language media outlet opposing the Iranian government and promoting Israeli policies, falsely claimed that Iran had no serious plans to avenge the assassination.
