WANA (Mar 29) – The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy emphasized that Iran will never negotiate over its missile program or the capabilities of the Resistance Front.

Brigadier General Alireza Tangsiri, the IRGC Navy commander, stated: “We extend a message of peace, brotherhood, and friendship to the Islamic countries of the region, as these nations are sacred and dear to us.”

He added, “We always extend a hand of friendship to regional countries and, as Muslims, we pose no threat to our neighbors.”

Tangsiri asserted, “Our message to countries outside the region is that the Persian Gulf is our home and that of our neighboring nations—no one sets fire to their own house.”

The commander reaffirmed, “We are not seeking war, but if the enemy tries to harm our interests or our people, or attack us, they must know that we will respond.”

Tangsiri further stated, “The decision to close the Strait of Hormuz is not in my hands; it rests with high-ranking officials. However, its execution would be my responsibility.”

He emphasized, “We have analyzed all scenarios and assessed every enemy maneuver. We have prepared for such days and, despite full-scale sanctions, we have achieved this readiness.”

Highlighting the significance of joint drills, he remarked, “The purpose of our military exercises with friendly and brotherly nations is to strengthen mutual understanding. We invited some Arab countries to participate, and representatives from the UAE, Qatar, Iraq, and Kuwait attended. We are also prepared to conduct military exercises with Iraq, Kuwait, and Bahrain and maintain relations with all Islamic countries.”

Regarding threats from former U.S. President Donald Trump, he stated, “I am not concerned with his statements or analyses about them. I hear his threats, observe his actions, and prepare myself accordingly.”

Tangsiri made it clear: “If there are any discussions about our military capabilities, the U.S. will not be involved. It is evident that we will never negotiate over our missile program or the strength of the Resistance Front.”

He emphasized, “From Lebanon to Gaza, Yemen, and Iraq, the Resistance stands firm and will not surrender to domination. These resistance groups are not under our command, but we support them because they defend the oppressed.”

Regarding Yemen, he clarified, “Yemen is not under our command for us to dictate their actions. It is an independent country with its own leadership and military.”

Tangsiri firmly warned, “Let everyone—from the U.S. to any other entity that threatens us—understand that we do not fear threats, nor do we fear death.”

He continued, “If our ships are attacked, we will undoubtedly respond in kind. If they seize our ships, we will seize theirs. No one can strike us and escape—if necessary, we will chase them to the Gulf of Mexico, and we will act accordingly.”

Tangsiri revealed, “We possess missile-launching boats and long-range missile systems, the range of which we will not disclose. However, they are securely stored in classified locations beyond the enemy’s reach. We are capable of targeting all enemy bases wherever they are. If we receive authorization for an attack from any location, we will strike them right there.”

Concluding his remarks, he declared, “We will not allow Trump or anyone else to impose their will on us. We have long prepared for such scenarios and have achieved this level of readiness despite full-scale sanctions.”
