WANA (Apr 11) – Majid Takht-Ravanchi, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasized Iran’s readiness to engage in dialogue regarding its peaceful nuclear program, stating: “Without threats and intimidation from the American side, there is a good opportunity to reach an agreement.”

 

Referring to Iran’s consultations with world powers in recent months, he added: “Over the past few months, Iran has held talks with China, Russia, and the three European countries.”

 

Takht-Ravanchi reaffirmed the principled policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran toward international engagement, saying: “Iran has always believed in dialogue and interaction based on mutual respect and rejects any form of bullying and coercion.”

 

In conclusion, he described dialogue and engagement as the most important strategy for resolving regional issues and called on all parties to avoid the language of threats and create the conditions necessary for diplomatic progress.
