WANA (Sep 07) – The Yemeni Foreign Minister reaffirmed that Yemen’s stance in support of the oppressed Palestinian people will not waver, despite the intensifying conflicts in the region and ongoing military attacks by the United States and the United Kingdom on Yemen.

In a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Yemen’s Foreign Minister Jamal Amer emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing regional cooperation.

Jamal Amer also expressed hope for deepening collaboration in economic and developmental areas, highlighting the significance of previous agreements between the two countries.

In response, Araghchi stressed the importance of Iran-Yemen relations and continued consultations aimed at ensuring regional security.

He praised the Yemeni government and people for their strong stance on the Israeli war crimes in Gaza.

Araghchi noted that, at a time when many countries limit their actions to merely condemning Israel’s actions, Yemen has actively defended the Palestinian cause.

Araghchi extended an invitation to Jamal Amer to visit Tehran for further discussions on bilateral and regional matters of mutual concern.
