WANA (June 19) – Alireza Zakani, a candidate for the upcoming elections, has expressed his opinion on foreign policy in the following manner:
We are open to negotiations and welcome them. However, it’s crucial to recognize that the West encompasses not only the United States but also several European nations. While we respect each other, we firmly uphold the influence of the East and consider ourselves a significant power within it.

Our firm red line remains the Zionist regime, which we believe is headed towards destruction.

If America takes a constructive approach and acknowledges its troubled history, there should be no barriers to dialogue.
