Judges cast their votes with utmost justice and neutrality
WANA ( Apr 16) – After more than three years and a total of 20 trial hearings in which a total of 117 plaintiffs filed lawsuits, Iran’s court has issued a final verdict on the Ukrainian Flight PS752 incident that claimed the lives of 176 passengers as the court labeled it a case of “human error”.
The sentencings range from 1-3 years in prison in a range of air defense personnel and even an IRGC aerospace commander.
Mr. Khodaei, Head of the Committee for Investigating the Ukraine Flight Incident stated: “We have invited the United States as the country responsible for designing and constructing the aircraft and Ukraine as the country registering and utilizing the aircraft to partake in this investigation.”
Mr. Pour-Aghakhan, Head of the Armed Forces Judiciary said that the judges and jury “cast their votes with utmost justice and neutrality.”
