America should leave the Persian Gulf
WANA (May 26) – The issue of America’s withdrawal from the Persian Gulf has been one of Iran’s long-standing demands and plans in this region.
Iran believes that the US presence in the Persian Gulf does not contribute to security in this region. Tehran believes that America is the cause of most unrest in the area.
Today, the commander of the IRGC Navy emphasized the same issue and said, “We firmly ensure the security of the Persian Gulf, and the media should reflect the capabilities of the IRGC Navy and the Army so that the world understands that the security of the Persian Gulf does not require the presence of foreigners.”
This IRGC commander demanded the immediate withdrawal of American forces from the Persian Gulf and considered the American claim that they are the guarantor of the security of the Persian Gulf to be nonsense and said, “The security of the Persian Gulf provided by Iran and the countries of the region, and you or any other countries no need to be present .”
