WANA (JAN 13)The temporary preacher of the Friday prayer in Tehran, Ayatollah Ahmed Khatami, called the British House of Commons resolution that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is a terrorist the peak of their enmity with the Iranian people and said: “The police force, Basij, army and the IRGC are the protectors of the people and the security of the country.” When you make your enmity public, you deserve death to England.

Recently, the British media stated that Britain is actively considering proscribing Iran’s Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization but has not reached a final decision on the matter.

The issue of sanctioning the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) by some western countries has started some time ago. Even recently, these countries are preparing the public opinion for such an action with the help of their Iranian fans in cyberspace with the hashtag “IRGCterrorist”.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps has not yet reacted to this news. Blacklisting IRGC as a terrorist group has been an idea and a constant effort by the West, but the reality of the field proves that this action has consequences that force the West to reconsider the decision before implementing it.

In another part of Friday prayer sermons today in Tehran, Ayatollah Khatami again presented the final opinion of the Iranian side about the Persian Gulf and the three Iranian islands. The issue of ownership of three islands near the Strait of Hormuz has been causing tension between Iran and the UAE for years. Iran is also strongly against using a name other than Persian Gulf for this water area.

The preacher of the Friday prayer clearly stated that: “This Persian Gulf was, is, and will be Persian Gulf, as the three islands are the eternal property of Iran, and no one has the right to lay hands on it, and this is a serious warning, and you have no right to say anything about it.”
