Islamic Governments Should Rise Against the Crimes of the Zionist Regime
WANA (Sep 28) – Following the Israeli regime’s attacks on the southern suburb of Beirut, the Guardian Council of Iran emphasized in a statement: Islamic governments should rise against the crimes of the Zionist regime.
The statement reads:
“And those who disbelieved said to their messengers, ‘We will surely drive you out of our land, or you must return to our religion.’ So their Lord inspired to them, ‘We will surely destroy the wrongdoers.'” (Surah Ibrahim, verse 13)
“The criminal Zionist regime, which has repeatedly demonstrated its savage nature and state terrorism in recent days and weeks, has once again committed a blatant and major war crime by attacking the southern suburb of Beirut yesterday. This regime has proven itself to be the greatest threat to regional and international peace and security.
The world governments, particularly the Western ones, some of which are political, intelligence, and military supporters of this malicious regime, must immediately put an end to the Zionists’ barbaric crimes and create conditions to stop the war.
Islamic governments and countries are also urged to strongly condemn this grievous crime and sever their economic and political ties with this criminal regime. Today, Islamic governments and nations must rise, stand in solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and Lebanon, and prevent the Zionists from committing these numerous crimes. The definitive and religious ruling is that Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque must be returned to their rightful owners.
The Resistance Front and the fighters firmly believe in the divine promise that the oppressors will be destroyed. The Palestinian resistance and Hezbollah have been victorious in their battles so far, and the ultimate victory belongs to them as well. Hezbollah in Lebanon, with its strong organizational structure and its reservoir of brave and committed fighters, will not be weakened by these Zionist regime attacks and will continue on its path with strength.
In conclusion, we express our condolences to the people and government of Lebanon and extend our sympathies to the families of the martyrs of these attacks and the recent brutal assaults by the Zionist regime.”
